Bio

As a composer, playwright and lyricist, he writes works for all types of formations, covering a wide range of styles from rock to avant-garde music, interested in eclecticism as the current creative engine.

 

He has received different awards and prizes among which, together with Jorge Ferrando, those obtained in the field of opera and musical theater stand out: First Prize for the Creation of Lyrical Work of the Teatro de la Zarzuela for the work "Los Aspirantes", College di Musica of the Biennale di Venezia for "El sueño de Dalí en una noche de Picasso", the Opera Factor of the Polo Nazionale Artistico-Accademia per l'Opera or the Jerry Goldsmith "Performing Arts". In the instrumental music section, he has been the winner of the Call for Young Composers of the Plural Ensemble, the Arriaga award of the SGAE-INAEM Foundation Young Composers Award, winner of the Independance contest and finalist of the Bernaola Award.

Among his piano teachers are: Pepita Cervera, Teresina Jordà, Eugenio Nebolsin, Asya Nebolsina and Ana García Urcola.

In the composition section: Gabriel Erkoreka, Ramón Lazkano, Jesús Rueda, Stefano Scarani, Zuriñe F. Gerenabarrena and Loic Mallie.

 

He has received masterclasses from teachers such as: Mauricio Sotelo, Moritz Eggert, Ivan Fedele, Fabian Panisello, Alberto Posadas, Felix Ibarrondo, Elena Mendoza, Johannes Maria Staud, Gerard Pesson, Hans Zimmer, Christopher Young, Richard Bellis, Garry Schyman and Andy Hill.
